One such sunny Spanish holiday destination is Menorca (Minorca), one of the Balearic Islands . Menorca relatively unspoilt and quiet in comparison to Mallorca and Ibiza . It has a wide variety of hotels, villas and apartments to suit most tastes and budgets. You can even book a luxury villa rental or a modest holiday apartment rental direct from the property owners and save on your holiday costs the best is to go for a vacation villa .

I have been to Madrid 49 times since 1971 not only to marry, but to visit family and friends. I did research there in 1991-1992, and did a teacher exchange in Tres Cantos (Autonomia de Madrid) in 1998-1999. Madrid, despite its size and large population, still continues to have the charm of a "villa" and the sophistication of a metropolis. I am looking forward to another trip in the very near future.

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I did enjoy everything in Madrid, including the beer! Our stay there was, in all ways, wonderful.

I have visited your website and have a suggestion. The English text is excellent in content, but the idioms and style make it clear that it was written by someone for whom English is a second language. This is not good business practice. As a promoter of Madrid, you should be professional in all regards.

I tried to email you at admin@madridinspain.com, but the mail was undeliverable. Please send me an email from an address to which I can reply. I have a suggestion that may assist you.

I went to Madrid with my wife recently, and you left a comment on my blog. While the hotel did suck, we finally stayed in one of the nicest and friendliest hotels I have ever stayed in, and Madrid was a wonderful city.

Travel Tip: Hotel Lope de Vega! Go! Now! The shower is amazing!

I Loved it.

I loved the fact that you could see older individuals and young mothers with their babies walking about the Old Quarter at night. Loved it.

I loved the fact everything seemed to shut down after lunch. Loved it.

The food is amazing.

And the people are friendly.

We were kidnapped by this older Spanish individual who gave us a wonderful tour of the city against our will. It was fun, and my wife and I are both sad we did not catch his name even though we spent over five hours seeing the city with him.

Travel Tip: I do not condone going around foreign cities with strangers because it can be dangerous (however, it was interesting and fun, though).
